Summary of Position
The Sales Executive – North Americas will be responsible for driving new business growth while retaining and expanding existing client relationships across the Pirum client network. This is a strategic, client-facing role focused on identifying opportunities, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and ensuring that Pirum’s suite of solutions continues to deliver value to both new and existing clients.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong network within the securities finance, collateral management, or broader financial technology ecosystem. The successful candidate will possess the ability to manage major accounts, present confidently to senior stakeholders, and drive revenue growth through both acquisition and retention strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities
New Business Development
Drive new business acquisition across the Americas region by identifying, qualifying, and converting prospective clients.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and participation in relevant industry events.
Develop tailored proposals and sales presentations aligned with client needs and Pirum’s strategic objectives.
Account Management & Retention
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients within the Pirum network, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
Develop strategic account plans to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Act as a trusted advisor to key client stakeholders, providing insights and best practices to maximize their use of Pirum solutions.
Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Product, Technology, and Client Services teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes and feedback loops for product development.
Collaborate with Marketing to craft compelling go-to-market materials and support brand positioning in the Americas region.
Contribute to strategic planning discussions and provide market intelligence on industry trends and client needs.
Leadership & Representation
Represent Pirum at industry conferences, trade events, and client forums.
Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to senior leadership, C-level executives, and key decision-makers.
Maintain a deep understanding of the securities finance, collateral, and post-trade landscape to position Pirum as a thought leader in the market.
Skills, Knowledge & Attributes
7+ years of experience in sales, relationship management, or business development within financial technology, securities finance, or related capital markets sectors.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
Strong existing network within the securities finance, repo, or collateral management ecosystem.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with experience engaging senior executives.
Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and client-centric approach.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA a plus).
